Feed America Fundraiser
"DINNERS AND A MOVIE"
It is the mission of Raymond C. Aguilera Motion Picture Entertainment to create motion pictures that will not only entertain audiences but that will also inspire viewers with stories driven by strong moral themes and positive life affirming values. Values such as compassion, integrity and altruism.
It is in this spirit that Raymond C. Aguilera Motion Picture Entertainment hopes to create a new and unique opportunity to raise funds that will help fight hunger in the communities where our movie is shown in theaters. This fundraising effort would be known as Dinners and a Movie.
We believe this fundraiser is a wonderful opportunity where your compassion for the less fortunate and your passion for the cinema can come together to help make a truly positive difference in the lives of others.
It is a sad fact that, even in the best of economic times, too many people in our country, especially children and the elderly, have often struggled with getting enough food to eat. Now, in what is potentially shaping up as the worst economic collapse since the 1930s with over 32 million suddenly unemployed as of this writing (May 15, 2020) due to the covid government mandated shut down of much of our economy, the problem of feeding the hungry will be greater than ever. Fortunately there are many organizations that are dedicated to providing food for those who are lacking this most basic human need. But these organizations depend on the support of you, the public, to carry out their mission.
It is our goal to team up with these non-profit organizations (yet to be determined as of this writing) and both independent cinemas and movie theater chains as well as streaming services that share this vision of feeding those in need. Ideally, we are hoping to donate a minimum of 50% of all net profits* collected by Raymond C. Aguilera Motion Picture Entertainment from the theatrical distribution of The Back Country.

*Net Profits are defined as all net revenue remaining after all expenses of distributing the motion picture have been deducted from all gross revenue collected through the theatrical distribution of the motion picture, including but not limited to all P & A (Print and Advertising) expenses incurred by the movie distrbutor, AND all "house nut costs" (what the theater charges the distrbutor to cover their basic weekly operating expenses) and the theater's share of the gross box-office.
